Our Orange County radiologists have sub-specialty training, experience and/or added certification in one or more specific areas of medical imaging. Body and MSK Radiologists
Body and musculoskeletal (MSK) radiologists interpret medical imaging studies that explore bone and joint abnormalities, including orthopedic, rheumatologic and traumatic conditions. West Coast Radiology Center MSK Radiologists are experienced in reading computed tomography (CT), magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) and ultrasound exams.
West Coast Breast Centers radiologists have the expertise required to interpret breast imaging studies, including 3D mammography, mammography, breast MRI and other procedures.
All West Coast Radiology Center neuroradiologists are board-certified in Neuroradiology. This radiology sub-specialty focuses on techniques that allow for diagnosis and characterization of a patient’s spine, head, neck and central and peripheral nervous system.
Nuclear Medicine Imaging
Nuclear medicine radiologists specialize in the interpretation of medical imaging studies that use very small amounts of radioactive materials (radiopharmaceuticals) to diagnose and treat disease. West Coast Radiology nuclear medicine radiologists ensure radiopharmaceuticals are used in a safe manner to provide the medical images that help to diagnose certain diseases. Our nuclear medicine radiologists are experienced in reading computed topography (CT), PET/CT and MRI procedures.
